Scrapping The Music la ut en Bonus oppgave samme dagen som vi blei enige her hjemm eom at jeg måtte jo lage et bursdagskort til min lillebror som nettopp fylte 24 år. Inni kortet la jeg en 1000 kroner seddel for å sponse ham litt nærmere ønsket hans om ny laptop. Bonusen til Scrapping The Music gikk ut på at vi skulle lage noe som hadde med bursdag å gjøre, og at det skulle ha innslag av en knallfarge. Og der har jo jeg valgt oransj på forsiden av kortet!

Scrapping The Music posted a Bonus – task the same day that we decided that I had to remember to make a birthday card for my brother that just turned 24 years old. Inside the card I made a pocket for some Norwegian money, to help him along the way  towards his goal for a new laptop. The Bonus – task over at Scrapping The Music blog, was to make something birthday related including an element of a sharp color. For that I chose some orange letters on the front page of the card!

The money inside the pocket is a 1000 Norwegian Kroner bill (= 176 US Dollar) because my brother wants to buy himself a new laptop, so we wanted to sponce him a little bit to achieve that goal.

Mamma ringte meg med en bestilling, et kort til mormor som skulle få bursdagsgaven sin på forskudd til sin 80 års dag. Så da var det bare å sette igang. Det blei en del riving og pussing denne gangen. Men til slutt følte jeg jo at det passet til en 80 års bursdag likevel, eller hva syns dere der ute??

My mom called me, and asked if I could make a card for my grandmother who would receive her birthday gift in advance , for her 80 years birthday. It was just to get started right away. There was some tearing and sanding down this time. But in the end I felt it became suitable for a 80-year birthday anyway, or what do you think out there??

A little closer:

The butterfly is made by using some white dabber paint on top of a stencil. Afterwards I embossed it with Utee thick Embossing powder. It became a exalted and smooth surface to touch on.

And at last I have to show that the card became waaay too thick, so I wasn’t able to close it. So I had to find some blonds to tie it together with….
